CABSA’s 20th Anniversary Extreme Cold Water Charity Swim

On the 15th of May 2021, I will attempt an extreme sea swim event of 10.5km from Milnerton Lighthouse to Big Bay Lifesaving Club in Bloubergstrand, Western Cape, South Africa.

It is also CABSA’s 20th anniversary and I would really like to promote this NPO by doing something that stands out!

The CABSA Churches, Channels of Hope program offers tools to help churches and communities respond to the needs created by HIV and AIDS.

Peer Educators Training

The purpose of this training is to equip Peer Educators and Community workers with a thorough understanding of the most essential HIV and AIDS related facts and topics.

HIV Farm Project

CABSA and CHABAHIVA are equipping a group of farm workers as peer educators in a multi-year programme in selected districts in the Western Cape.

CABSA's 20th Anniversary Extreme Cold Water Charity Swim

On the 15th of May 2021, I will attempt an extreme sea swim event of 10.5km from Milnerton Lighthouse to Big Bay Lifesaving Club in Bloubergstrand, Western Cape, South Africa. I will be swimming without a wetsuit in icy water ranging between 11 – 14 degrees Celsius. As this is an organised event, I will have a lifesaver within close range.
